Payroll Administrator & Bookkeeper

Our client, based in the Rooderpoort area, requires a competent Payroll Administrator & Bookkeeper (Both Functions Essential).

Minimum Requirements:

• 5-10 years' experience in full function payroll (200 Wages & 50 Salaried Staff) and full bookkeeping essential.

• Own Car Essential. Excellent work ethic and stable track record with good work references.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Full Salary function from A to Z & overseeing and standing in for wage clerk
  2. Monitoring and controlling hours worked/clocked on a daily basis
  3. Knowledge of all statutory deductions and calculations
  4. Staff leave & Staff loans to be captured & monitored
  5. Maintenance of employee staff files and contracts
  6. Full function Provident/Pension fund
  7. IOD claims
  8. Disability claims
  9. Weekly & monthly salary & wage reports & reconciliations & journals to GL
  10. Full function bookkeeping before AFS
  11. Cashbook processing & bank reconciliation daily
  12. Posting journals of all relevant aspects to the GL
  13. Expense analysis and summaries monthly
  14. Invoicing of non-stock items on SAGE Evolution
  15. Loading of all new beneficiaries and payments on banking portal
  16. Full knowledge of creditors (loading of invoices and reconciliations if Creditors clerk not available)
  17. Working closely with various staff
  18. Monitoring and training of staff when applicable
  19. Various Admin tasks for HR & Financial & General Manager
  20. Working with Petty Cash
Desired Experience & Qualification


• 5-10 years' experience in full function payroll and bookkeeping.

• Office Hours Monday - Friday (08:00 - 16:30)

R40,000/R45,000 pm
