Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Iron Systems, Inc.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage desktop devices, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Provide desk-side support services and manage incidents through to resolution.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop devices, including patch updates and hardware replacements.
  • Analyze service desk calls and incident data to identify potential user training requirements and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure that each desktop device is installed with the appropriate image and monitor security profiles and anti-virus software.
  • Provide VIP support for desk-side issues and serve as the point of contact for all IT-related issues when other support teams are unavailable.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience with Windows 7 operating system.
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory and smart hands and feet support.
  • Experience with Service management tools, such as ServiceNow.
  • Strong expertise in End-User Computing (EUC) tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
  • Awareness of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request, and related activities like spare and buffer stock management.
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a three-year college or technical school with an emphasis in electronics required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
