SUMMARY : The Loan Administrator will be responsible for supporting the full loan lifecycle from application through to disbursement and repayment tracking. They are driven by ethical lending, exceptional customer service, and financial inclusion. They are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Administrator to join their team. Purpose of the position : The Loan Administrator will be responsible for supporting the full loan lifecycle from application through to disbursement and repayment tracking. This role requires strong administrative skills, accuracy in handling financial information, and a customer-centric mindset. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth and compliant processes. RESPONSIBILITIES Client Onboarding & Support Assist customers with loan applications and required documentation. Conduct initial client screenings and data capture into the loan management system (Where applicable) Provide excellent customer service via phone and email. Loan Processing & Administration Verify application information and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure accurate pre-vetting and signing of loans. Compliance & Record Management Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer and loan records. Ensure adherence to credit policies, affordability checks, NCR and FICA requirements. Support internal and external audits through proper documentation. Reporting & Operations Support Generate weekly reports on loan statuses and performance, as well as site traffic. Flag high-risk accounts and assist in early arrears follow-ups. Assist with process improvements and operational efficiencies. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Experience in a lending or financial services environment (3+ years essential) Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. Proficient in MS Office packages (Word and Excel) Strong communication skills (verbal & written) Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Knowledge of NCR and FICA requirements (advantageous) NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS : Clear Credit and Criminal checks.
