We are searching for a well-organised, detail-orientated and multi-lingual department head to join our organization.

Under the leadership of the Manager Remuneration and Benefits, responsible for the day to day supervision of the Pension Department and the effective functioning of the team. Responsible for the implementation and adherence to the Pension Fund rules governed by the Pension Fund Act and any related matters**_ _**and manage all administrative steps, controls etc are executed in terms of disability, resignation, retirement, housing loans etc.

To be successful as a department head, you should have an influential personality and stellar leadership qualities. You should be are able to identify issues and develop innovative solutions.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING**:

- Pension fund administrative duties
- Disability Claims
- Death Claims
- Retirements
- Pension Powered Housing Loans
- Pensioner and related benefit administration - Post retirement Medical Aid (PRMA)
- Pensioner birthdays and deaths
- Pensioner Bonuses
- Society Newsletter contributions
- Supervisory responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly statistics and report to the Remuneration and Benefits department to include in the month-end report
- Adhoc duties
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree or industry relevant qualification would an advantage
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in pension fund administration
- Knowledge of the Pension Fund Act
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English - Fluency in an additional vernacular language would be an advantage.
