Job Requirements Undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognised by SAQA in Public Administration, Business Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification. Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a middle or senior managerial level in a similar environment. Certificate for entry into the Senior Management Services (SMS) obtained from the National School of Government (NSG) is compulsory and must be submitted prior to appointment. Computer literacy essential. Valid driver’s licence required. Required Knowledge In-depth understanding of the Justice Cluster dynamics. Knowledge of Public Service policy and the legislative framework, including: Public Service Act and Regulations Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) Correctional Services Act 111 of 1998 (as amended) Relevant experience with the regulatory framework governing public service planning processes. Extensive experience in collective bargaining mechanisms. Proven track record in efficient and effective human resource management. Strong knowledge and experience in human resources legislation and the regulatory framework. Core Competencies and Attributes Strategic capability and leadership. Service delivery innovation and process improvement. Client orientation and customer focus. Financial management and resource allocation. Change management and organizational adaptability. People management and empowerment. Programme and project management expertise. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
