Sales Business Development Executive

Prima Secure is a leading independent cybersecurity specialist delivering enterprise‑grade protection to organisations across South Africa and the African continent. We partner with our clients using a consultative, NIST‑aligned methodology to design and implement solutions that materially reduce cyber risk. The Role We are looking for a proven, high‑performing direct‑sales professional with a verifiable track record of winning new‑logo business in the cybersecurity space. This is a classic “hunter” role focused exclusively on direct end‑customer sales (no channel, distribution or reseller activity). You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, prospecting and closing business across Africa. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities across South Africa and Sub‑Saharan Africa Build and maintain a robust, accurately forecasted sales pipeline Run consultative sales engagements structured around the NIST Cybersecurity Framework Engage and influence C‑level and senior decision‑makers (CEO, CFO, CIO, CISO, Head of IT, Procurement) Collaborate with internal technical pre‑sales and solutions architects on proposals, POCs and RFPs Deliver compelling presentations, executive briefings and proof‑of‑value demonstrations Accurately maintain CRM (activity, pipeline, forecasting and closed‑won documentation) Represent Prima Secure at industry events, conferences and client functions Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets Requirements – You Must Have Minimum 3+ years of direct (end‑customer) cybersecurity sales experience with a proven, referenceable track record of new business wins Demonstrated ability to independently prospect, develop and close six‑ and seven‑figure deals Deep knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity solutions based on the NIST framework Experience selling using a consultative approach Consistent over‑achievement of sales targets Excellent presentation, communication and executive presence Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle; willingness to travel domestically and into Africa when required Existing network of C‑level/IT security contacts in South Africa and/or Africa is a distinct advantage Professional‑level French (written and spoken) is highly advantageous Ideal Attributes True hunter mentality with a relentless focus on new‑logo acquisition Highly self‑motivated, disciplined and able to operate autonomously Strong negotiator with a proven ability to close Impeccable professional image and business acumen Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Business Development and Sales Industries Computer and Network Security #J-18808-Ljbffr
