Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of non-call centre debt recovery operations, ensuring that processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with company goals
  • Manage internal and external debtor tracing efforts, ensuring seamless coordination with external service providers
  • Lead the credit listing process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
  • Supervise bulk communications to debtors, ensuring messaging is consistent and compliant
  • Lead a team of internal staff members, providing guidance, training, and support to maximise their performance
  • Utilise data analytics and spreadsheets to monitor, measure, and continuously improve departmental performance
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, focusing on key metrics, process improvements, and strategic recommendations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing operational processes, particularly within the legal, financial services, or debt recovery sectors
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent data management and spreadsheet skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in coordinating with external service providers while managing internal operations
