Business Development Manager

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieving sales targets, enhancing client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success and profitability of the company.
Focus will be on:
Sales: Develop and execute a comprehensive area sales strategy and sales funnel to achieve revenue and growth targets we want hunters not farmers.
Cold canvassing
Following up on leads
Daily reporting on stats, visits etc.
Identify new possible markets the service could be offered to (This service can assist any industry)
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
National certificate Grade 12/ Matric advantageous
Sales / Marketing certificate / diploma advantageous
No less than 3 years experience selling business to business
Courier sales experience not negotiable essential
Must have costing and quoting experience within courier industry
MS Office-Advanced MS Excel
Proven experience as a successful sales representative within the courier industry
Results-oriented and driven by a passion for exceeding targets and driving revenue growth
Ability to travel within the designated region as needed
Own vehicle essential
Package: Market related depending on experience and qualifications. Tools of the trade.
