Sales Business Developer Polokwane Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Business Developer to join our team in Polokwane. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales, customer service, and business development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and securing repeat sales. They will also be required to develop and implement effective sales strategies, plan weekly sales activities, and analyze customer requirements to identify value add opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure business and achieve sales targets;
- Plan weekly sales activities, including prospecting activity, in accordance with set objectives;
- Analyze customer requirements to identify value add opportunities;
- Ensure enquiry specifications are according to customer and Company requirements;
- Presentation of structured proposals relating to customer requirements;
- Establish excellent professional business relationships with customers;
- Establish excellent working relationships within all relevant departments of the Company;
- Adhere to Company business and trading policies;
- Report on sales activities and provide relevant operational and market information as required.
Requirements:
- A matric qualification or the equivalent;
- A valid driver's license and reliable motor vehicle;
- Computer literacy in Word and Excel, and a high level of numeracy;
- The ability to work according to strict deadlines;
- A methodical, analytical approach, with fanatical attention to detail;
- A professional appearance;
- A successful track record in sales; Experience in print or related markets could be an advantage;
- A strong customer service orientation and the ability to develop strategic customer relationships;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal staff at all levels;
- Competent at independently planning and managing own sales initiatives and activities;
- A self-motivated, energetic and persistent character who can identify and secure new business;
- A passion for winning new business and exceeding customer expectations.
Salary: R120 000 - R180 000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits package.
