Export Sales Manager Our client in the building industry has a position available for an Export Sales Manager. Salary : Highly Negotiable Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Sales / Marketing / Business Administration / Supply Chain Management 5+ Years' experience in traveling to SADC Countries promoting products and brands to the construction industry. Sound knowledge of export documentation, cross-border duties, and regulations Proven experience in export business, preferably in the same industry. Thorough knowledge of foreign trade regulations and compliance requirements. Strong understanding of levers to develop new business in Africa. Duties Developing, structuring and managing the business portfolio in SADC Countries. Sound knowledge of market data and dynamics. Oversee all aspects of international trade and ensuring compliance with all regulations and laws. Maintain database of customers and markets for pre-seed, expansion, and license opportunities. Representing the company's range of products and services. Developing and maintaining a customer and prospect database. Establishing and maintaining business relationships with partners within SADC countries. Building brand awareness and accumulating brand value. Expanding the service offering by obtaining new service contracts. Providing technical support to customers. Annual budgets for capital and operational expenses. Sales, turnover, forecasts and budgets. Achieve all sales availability and operational targets daily, weekly and monthly basis. Presentation in weekly / monthly meetings to give feedback on market trends on competitor brands, pricing, and customer buying behaviour. Travel to different provinces and SADC countries to promote products / brands in retail hardware stores, construction sites and block yards. Maintain end-to-end tracking process for indirect customers. Evaluate and execute price adjustments in line with growth initiatives. Collaborate with PPM, supply & logistics manager, and back-office to streamline customer experience.
