Our client is looking for a dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) with strong experience in the quick service restaurant (QSR) or hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of retail and hospitality operations, excellent people management skills, and a strategic mindset to drive HR initiatives that align with the business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support the business goals and drive operational excellence.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent in the QSR/hospitality sector.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, providing guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues.
  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
  • Ensure all HR policies and procedures comply with legal regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on workforce trends and HR initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives to boost employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention within the organization.

Skills:

  • Strong Retail/QSR Experience: Proven experience in HR roles within the quick service restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align HR strategies with business objectives and contribute to organizational growth.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving HR-related issues.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and influence others, driving HR initiatives and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the QSR/hospitality industry.
  • Data-Driven: Competency in using HR metrics and data to inform decisions and improve processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a HRBP role within the QSR or hospitality industry.
  • In-depth understanding of HR best practices, labour laws, and compliance requirements specific to the QSR/hospitality sector.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
