- Optimize procurement processes to reduce total cost of ownership.
- Identify and implement cost-saving strategies, such as bulk buying and pooling of efforts.
- Build strong relationships with clients at member institutions and suppliers.
- Ensure the effective operation of the e-tender and catalogue system.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities for the organization and member institutions.
- Track and report savings to the Contract Manager and Financial Manager.
- Administer the contract management portfolio.
- Assist the Contract Manager in managing regional activities and committees.
- Assume responsibilities of the Contract Manager in their absence.
- Manage procurement activities throughout the supply chain.
- Ensure fair, equitable, transparent, and cost-effective procurement practices.
- Manage a support staff member.
- Assume additional responsibilities in the absence of other team members.
