  • Research and evaluate potential suppliers and contracts.
  • Compile tender documents and detailed evaluation reports.
  • Optimize procurement processes to reduce total cost of ownership.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving strategies, such as bulk buying and pooling of efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with clients at member institutions and suppliers.
  • Ensure the effective operation of the e-tender and catalogue system.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities for the organization and member institutions.
  • Track and report savings to the Contract Manager and Financial Manager.
  • Administer the contract management portfolio.
  • Assist the Contract Manager in managing regional activities and committees.
  • Assume responsibilities of the Contract Manager in their absence.
  • Manage procurement activities throughout the supply chain.
  • Ensure fair, equitable, transparent, and cost-effective procurement practices.
  • Manage a support staff member.
  • Assume additional responsibilities in the absence of other team members.
