A global leader in identifying and securing funding solutions, is looking for a Business Development Executive to help build their growth into the UK market through sales.

This role is for someone who is looking to extend their knowledge in the international financial services industry.

This position requires a strong sales function to research and contact new clients who will be serviced by the existing operations team.


Responsibilities:

  • Create, through various means of research, a pool of potential new business opportunities.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and activity records using HubSpot.
  • Work with the Partnership & Growth manager to help carry out the business' growth strategy and gotomarket plan.
  • Develop skills necessary for promotion into a Business Development Manager or any other relevant position.
  • Other duties within the employee's vocational abilities.

Requirements:

  • 12 years relevant sales experience preferably B2B
  • Degree/Diploma in Commerce, Marketing or Finance
  • Drivers license and own vehicle
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, listening and research skills.
  • Able to take initiative, be creative, be inquisitive and possess a keen eye for detail.
  • Fearless approach to cold calling multicultural individuals with a willingness to learn persuasion skills.
  • Ability to face rejection and maintain morale.
  • Exceptional command of English with strong writing skills.
