Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive is responsible for developing a database of potential clients through prospecting and bringing in new business opportunities.
Their primary objective is to bring in new leads for VaultGroup through thorough knowledge of the business, our service and product offerings.
This role is also responsible for driving sales, growing revenue and increasing profitability for the group by seeking new growth opportunities, building a reliable pipeline, acquiring new customers, ensuring excellent service and building strong and positive relationships with existing and new clients.
Responsibilities
New Business Leads
- From time to time, this role is required to research new product offerings for VaultGroup to create better value propositions for our clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that all lead sources are properly identified, tracked, and optimised to maximise revenue for the business.
- Proactively communicate with potential leads to achieve their buyin. This includes communicating in an effective manner to articulate the VaultGroup offering and to build rapport with potential leads.
- Nurture each new lead by consistently and persistently following up with potential leads and setting up appropriate appointments and meetings with each lead.
Sales
- Build a reliable sales pipeline to generate new lead sources and expand the customer base. This includes working towards establishing new accounts/business by planning and organising a daily work schedule and acquisition plan to call on existing or potential clients.
- Strategically and creatively consider new ways to reach potential customers and increase conversion rates.
- Continuously assess, test and revise existing acquisition strategies to ensure optimal reach, lead generation and conversion.
- Continuously work at improving efforts to generate and close leads as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Client Relationship Management
- Build, nurture, and proactively maintain client relationships that are built on trust to ensure that they are loyal to VaultGroup and that their business is retained.
- Serve as clients' primary point of contact at VaultGroup and be actively involved in communicating with clients on a consistent basis, attend client meetings and support the client regarding their needs.
- Ensure that clients are onboarded effectively. This includes ensuring that the onboarding process is smooth for new clients, guaranteeing their successful integration and satisfaction with VaultGroups services.
- Where opportunities have been identified, write clear and succinct proposals that outline the VaultGroup offering. This should be done in a manner which tailors the VaultGroup offering to suit the client's needs and closes the deal.
- Understand client's business fully, understanding how the business works and what the root causes to certain challenges are. Harness this knowledge and proactively identify and recommend ways of solving problems to create a real impact for the client.
- Efficiently deal with, solve or escalate any client queries, questions or concerns. This includes identifying effective solutions to build relationships and partner with clients and colleagues as a trusted adviser and provider of solution.
