Introduction


Our client based in Gauteng is in search of an External Sales Representative to join their team to service the Northern regions of Gauteng.


The purpose of this role is to drive and achieve sales targets through effective sales processes with a focus on face-to-face sales and success, coverage of specific regions, new and existing customers and the full product range.


Duties & Responsibilities
To actively achieve set targets and to ensure that all set targets are met.

Develop and maintain appropriate pipeline to maintain and grow the relevant targets.

Maintain sales channels and actively develop new ones by searching for opportunities.

Must attend all tender briefings at sites as required through own potential and company requests.

Grow new potential client base by actively searching for customers in region.

Manage and achieve call ratios. Reporting of these weekly without fail.


Ensure own administration is of the highest quality, for internal and external procedures and requirements, even those needed at the client to ensure we are registered on the necessary systems.

Assist and manage to resolve all queries with all customers within 24hours.

Ensure that self is willing, able and motivated.

Targeting and developing new clients to result into sales as per company strategy regarding territory and market segment targets.

Develop and control competitor analysis. Collate information on a regular basis regarding competitor's rates, activities and advertising.

Enhance brand awareness.

Complete personal KPI's and performance appraisals as per company policies.


Visit all existing clients and build exceptionally strong relationships with all roll players at the client as per agreed cycle to achieve revenue growth and retention.

Manage own planner with the sign-off of the Director.

Ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to.

All other duties and tasks as required by management.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum requirements / qualification

Matric.

Relevant Degree or Diploma.

Min 5 years' external sales experience in Cleaning, Hygiene, Facilities Industry.

Min 3 years' FMCG direct sales experience of products.

Own reliable vehicle and valid RSA driver's license.

No criminal record.

Physically fit and highly energetic.

Must be able to self-manage.
