About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Salesworx. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving business growth and achieving sales targets in the cloud services market, with a focus on AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for recurring revenue and projects
  • Track progress monthly and provide detailed reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate reports and presentations are delivered by the admin/SDM team to stakeholders
  • Follow up with clients on reports and update them as necessary
  • Be the primary point of contact for all requests from customers from initial engagement to proposal discussions and beyond
  • Prepare quotes and share them with customers, following up until approval is obtained
  • Plan, lead, and achieve goals for segment-related marketing events
  • Collaborate with supporting teams to ensure stated ROI targets are met
  • Upsell customers by understanding and upskilling on all offerings
  • Generate roadmaps for clients to leverage services beyond the initial engagement
  • Review and authorize performance incentives for the admin/SDM team based on KPI targets
  • Ensure accurate management of customers in your segment in CRM, including updates and changes
  • Document all related processes accurately and timely in SOPs
  • Meet required certification requirements and continuously upskill on AWS and related solutions
  • Assist team members with training as needed to ensure effectiveness
Requirements
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in cloud, preferably AWS services
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a technology or cloud services environment
  • Strong understanding of startup ecosystems and their unique needs
  • Ability to work independently with a knack for proactive problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Eagerness to participate in industry events and grow our network
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and administration
  • Willingness to assist and support colleagues as needed
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
  • Motivated by achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes

AWS Certification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect is a huge advantage.
