Job description


Marketing Intern will support the marketing team by assisting the management of marketing operations under the supervision of a marketing manager.

Their duties include preparing proposals, hosting events, and researching marketing trends, running social media platforms in conjunction with the social media manager.


Key roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor our social media performance using analytics tools available and identify any proactive steps we can take to remedy badly performing posts.
  • Escalating any complaints to the various department with full details.
  • Assisting with content creation and ideas for social media together with the social media manager.
  • Researching and staying uptodate with the latest social media trends and best practices, and recommend how we can make it relevant to the KKSA message and content strategy.
  • The weekly working period will be from Wednesday to Sunday, with handovers to the social media manager and marketing assistant done the Friday before.
  • Collaborating with the marketing manager and marketing team, clients, and partners on marketing strategy.
  • Managing and implementing all brand launches full launch responsibility from start to finish.
  • All brand communication to be proofed and aligned with brand standards.
  • Working with the marketing team to manage all requests, deadlines and creating timelines for all departments to plan accordingly.
  • Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
  • Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing.
  • Providing general admin assistance for the marketing department.
  • Leading meetings and creating, presenting various presentations.
  • Providing administrative support to the marketing team.
  • Store/site visits.
  • Preparing, formatting, and editing a range of documents.
  • Working closely with PR and our digital team to execute on brand priorities.
  • Understanding company product and brand to monitor, approve and create brand assets.
  • Creating and interpreting a variety of reports.
  • Organizing market research.
  • Analysing, communicating, and implementing all review platform feedback.
  • Responsible for activating all campaigns align with the brand and marketing calendar of events.
  • Working with delivery aggregators to load new stores, update store menus and run promotions.

Requirements:

At least 1 year marketing experience in the industry

Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Microsoft Outlook, the Internet, and social media sites.

Highly motivated self-starter with a strong sense of urgency.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Have problem-solving; brand-building; marketing campaigns and research skills.

Demonstrates curiosity. Welcomes failure as a learning opportunity.

Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing programmes and supporting tactics.

Strong project management skills, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
