Role Overview

Collaborate with the global marketing division, regional sales teams, and various departments to execute marketing and communication strategies aimed at enhancing brand visibility, fostering engagement, and driving conversions to boost market presence and customer loyalty. This position also encompasses responsibilities as an Executive Assistant to the Executive Team (Directors).

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing

Design, implement, and evaluate marketing strategies. Partner with internal teams (such as product and sales) to create and oversee marketing efforts for the African regions. Coordinate with marketing teams across African countries for regional marketing initiatives. Collaborate with external marketing service providers to establish the annual budget and manage external marketing materials, in conjunction with the VP and internal content creators. Conduct market analysis and research to uncover new marketing opportunities. Assist in the creation of marketing collateral and work with global teams (marketing and product) to ensure sales areas are equipped with necessary materials. Organize and manage marketing events, exhibitions, and trade shows. Work alongside the global marketing team to promote African content and narratives through the SRP LinkedIn page and other social media platforms. Lead NPS initiatives by utilizing CRM systems to enhance response rates and improve feedback on NPS. Engage in other CRM-related initiatives.

Communications

Draft and disseminate internal communications to relevant stakeholders through SRP Africa communication channels. Collaborate with managers to ensure content is aligned and that the organization remains informed about significant changes and updates. Provide setup and administrative support for internal communication webinars. Develop and prepare materials for internal communication webinars and other initiatives. Propose and design internal communication strategies and models to enhance effective communication within the organization.

Executive Assistant

Deliver proactive and organized support to the Managing Directors and senior executive team. Assist in managing schedules, coordinating meetings/events, and facilitating communication with both internal and external stakeholders, along with various administrative tasks (e.g., expense claims) for the executive team. Organize and prepare materials for meetings. Arrange travel and manage travel logistics for the executive team.

Qualifications & Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business administration is preferred. Other relevant qualifications, such as a Diploma or Certificate in Marketing or Communications, will also be considered, particularly when combined with experience and assessed capabilities. A minimum of 2 years of corporate experience in a similar marketing and communications role. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems is highly advantageous.

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Project management capabilities. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently. Legal right to live and work in South Africa.

Location: This position is based in Spartan, Kempton Park.
