- A wellknown engineering company requires the above to be responsible for working closely with the Projects Manager and team to ensure that all projects are completed within budget and on time.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- A minimum Certificate in Project Management or similar qualification is essential for this role.
- Previous experience having worked within a Projects Administration role or related ideally working within an engineering or related environment is preferred for the role.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy is essential with intermediate to advanced Excel experience working on MS Office and MS Projects.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Working closely with the Projects Manager and team to ensure that all projects are administrated and coordinated within budget and on time.
- Requesting quotes and issuing approved purchase orders to suppliers.
- Generating purchase orders on evolution.
- Signing off supplier invoices for payment and submitting them to finance.
- Ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time.
- Ensuring that specifications are accurate.
- Liaising with subcontractors ensuring compliance to specifications.
- Compiling progress reports for the client and to the MD.
- Attending weekly project meetings.
- Visiting existing clients to assess their needs and to ensure they are satisfied.
Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
