Overview:

Our client is a leading import and distribution business (wholesaler) of high-end Eletronic, digital, personal and household products.

The role has the following responsibilities:


  • HR Administrator -
    this would require around 60% of the focus of the role
  • Maintain all human resources records for 60+ staff nationally
  • Contracts
  • Leave
  • Payroll and salaries (working with outsourced service provider)
  • Attendance
  • Disciplinary and performance processes
  • Recruitment assistance
  • Employee wellbeing etc.

Executive PA to CEO and FD/Commercial Director - this would require around 40% of the focus of the role*
  • Maintaining the CEO's and CFO's business and personal diary
  • Setting up of all appointments
  • Arranging of all business and personal travel locally and internationally
  • Scheduling and coordinating events and functions
  • Dealing with all business and personal matters where required
  • Coordinating personal financial and administrative functions
  • Coordinating of all meeting arrangements
  • Obtaining of relevant meeting details and information
  • Preparation of correspondence, documentation and presentations where required
  • Ensuring a high level of confidentiality
  • Liaising with clients and senior executives
  • Interacting with people internally and externally at all levels
  • Maintaining an effective filing system
  • Conducting searches on the internet where required
  • Providing backup to staff where required
  • General Administration
  • Office Management for Cape Town offices
  • Facilities Management maintenance for Cape Town offices

Requirements:

years' experience as an HR Administrator

  • The person should be mature to be able to handle role and related pressures
  • Further studies/a degree would be a distinct advantage in terms of HR related skills
  • Need to be a forward thinker
  • Need to be open to being continuously challenged
  • Must be open to ongoing learning, improvement and change
  • Must be able to handle criticism
