Purpose of the position:

The HR Administrator will support the Human Resource department across HR disciplines.

This position is for a fixed term and will provide exposure to various aspects of the HR field, through involvement in the administrative and coordination activities in the HR Department.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Conducting recruitment verification checks (including reference checks and employment background checks)
  • Scheduling interviews and setting them up on the HR365 Talent Attraction platform

  • Support administrative compliance with all HR standards by maintaining accurate and complete personnel data and ensuring the security of employee data and files.
  • Provide project management admin and support as requested by the HR Team.
  • General meeting coordination and diary management
  • Prepare various HR documents and letters including but not limited to confirmation of employment, certificate of service, signage of medical aid forms for onboarding and offboarding where applicable and Employment change addendums.
  • Vendor management administration, including but not limited to: processing of HR invoices, compliance checks and uploading of new vendors.
  • Formatting and updating policy and procedure manuals, as well as overall HR policy administration assistance.
  • Formatting and updating all system training manuals
  • Data administration support through weekly audit reports drawn from various systems
  • Assist with monthly HR reports
  • Updating Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training report data
  • Assisting with the submission of Employment Equity and Workplace Skills Plan
  • Payroll administration support across all countries (SA, Kenya, US, UK)
  • Support new country payroll and benefits research and administration
  • Wellness data administration and coordination of online event
  • Meeting coordination and diary management
  • Conducting recruitment verification checks (including reference checks and employment background checks)
  • Scheduling interviews and setting them up on the HR365 Talent Attraction platform

Qualifications:

Essential qualifications:

  • National Diploma in Human Resources

Desirable qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or BTECH Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology

Experience & skills:

  • At least 1 year of HR admin experience in an HR Department
  • Good understanding of HR compliance factors and the theory behind it
  • Ability to act as a company ambassador
