Duties and responsibilities:

Digital Marketing:

  • Supporting the marketing team in daily activities
  • Design and implement social media campaigns in conjunction with Marketing Manager
  • Design creative content for website and digital marketing and social platforms
  • Enhance search engine optimization (SEO) on the brand sites
  • Assisting with web development projects
  • Producing and proofreading website content
  • Collecting and reporting data from marketing campaigns
  • Liaise with digital marketing agency as required

Online store administration:

  • Uploading new products and ranges
  • Keeping all website information updated and relevant
  • Update price lists online
  • Manage and maintain stock availability on the websites
  • Source images for websites
  • Work with Marketing Manager and Web Developers to continually improve and enhance sites and improve user experience

Customer Support:

  • Handling all online customer queries
  • Monitoring and responding to Live Chat engagement from online users
  • Managing Takealot Marketplace platform

Reporting & Analytics:
Webshop reporting

  • Customer query tracker
  • Collecting and reporting data from marketing campaigns
  • Collecting and reporting data from social media campaigns

General Marketing Support:

  • Be involved in and support all aspects on the marketing function within the business
  • Plan, arrange and attend functions and other events as required
