KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Your function will mainly be to assist the office manager with his duties and the following activities:
- Uphold the firm's fiduciary responsibility to its shareholders
- Project Leader
- Actively market the firm and procure work
- Assist with office budgets and finances
- Assist with office human resources
- Assist clients with project inception
- Investigate alternative solutions to problems
- Compile or review technical reports
- Manage project staff with draughting, design and detailing
- Ensure ISO 9001 quality assurance standards of the office are maintained
- Keep appraised of the technical quality on project designs and drawings
- Review the project designs and drawings for projects allocated to you
- Initiate project design reviews
- Initiate Client Reviews
- Request client reference letter
- Compile project sheets
- Assist as reviewer with design reviews of other projects
- Professionally register or maintain registration
- Required to perform any other duties which may be required from time to time by the office manager
