KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Your function will mainly be to assist the office manager with his duties and the following activities:

  • Uphold the firm's fiduciary responsibility to its shareholders
  • Project Leader
  • Actively market the firm and procure work
  • Assist with office budgets and finances
  • Assist with office human resources
  • Assist clients with project inception
  • Investigate alternative solutions to problems
  • Compile or review technical reports
  • Manage project staff with draughting, design and detailing
  • Ensure ISO 9001 quality assurance standards of the office are maintained
  • Keep appraised of the technical quality on project designs and drawings
  • Review the project designs and drawings for projects allocated to you
  • Initiate project design reviews
  • Initiate Client Reviews
  • Request client reference letter
  • Compile project sheets
  • Assist as reviewer with design reviews of other projects
  • Professionally register or maintain registration
  • Required to perform any other duties which may be required from time to time by the office manager
