Requirements:

  • A relevant B degree (Commerce, Engineering or other relevant to
Operations/Directorate Business area)

  • Postqualification experience as a Portfolio/Programme/
Project Planner will be advantageous

  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience required within the
Planning environment

  • Advanced skills in MS Office and Project Management software, MS
Projects and Advanced Excel

  • A valid driver's licence
Key Performance Areas

  • Coordinate, manage and monitor the corporate services
portfolio of projects and programmes with associated milestones

  • Establish Corporate Services master schedule and identify and track
key milestones

  • Track and monitor tender processes and contract durations for
Corporate Services portfolio to ensure continuity of contracted

services

  • Ensure that schedules are properly planned, established, managed
and successfully implemented

  • Effective and efficient planning of the Contract management
life-cycle

  • Monitor performance of project, programme and contract
schedules across the directorate in order to ensure efficient and

effective implementation of projects, programmes and

tenders/contracts

  • Develop initiatives, guidelines and standard operating
procedures in order to improve planning capability across the

Directorate

  • Provide management with information and statistics to ensure
informed decision-making and improved strategic management

about planning for the Directorate
