UWM 60/23 Assistant Professional Officer

Requirements:

  • National Diploma, B Tech or Degree in Finance, Accounting,
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in financial environment
as per KPA's below

  • Experience in asset management
  • Knowledge of SAP Systems and Microsoft excel
  • Valid Driver's licence (Subject to City's drivers assessment process)
Key Performance Areas

  • Coordinates and controls the section's/depot's specialized and
administrative functionality in adherence to policy, procedures,

  • Facilitates and supports the recording, updating, circulation and
maintenance of information to and from the branch.

  • Coordinates the implementation of procedures, controls and
activities associated with Acquisitions, Transfers, Loss Control,

Insurance, Theft/Losses, Written-offs and Asset Management

Functionally

  • Ensures proper controls are implemented and maintained by
monitoring such and implementing various checks and balances.

  • Monitors the capital expenditure for the branch by extracting
monthly reports and analysing expenditure.

  • Ensure proper asset management by coordinating stock taking
audits in terms of legislations and policies.

  • Monitors the processing and consolidation of information/
complaints recorded on the system

  • Performs accounting activities as per established accounting
standards and procedures.

  • Interacts with administration officers located in the regions with a
view to consolidating, referring and responding to specific

problems or clarifying procedural interpretation and understanding.

Organizes and maintains fixed asset documentations for references
