Responsibilities
- Keep front desk and surrounding area tidy and stocked with all the necessary supplies.
- Greet and welcome guests, and immediately attend to their needs.
- Answer all the customers' questions, address their concerns and/or refer to the correct staff member.
- Answer all incoming calls, redirect them when needed and/or take a message.
- Receive letters, packages and send them to appropriate destination.
- Monitor office supplies.
- Prepare supply orders when needed.
- Monitor and update records and files applicable to Front Desk station and weekend staff.
- Keep occupancy and meals register updated daily.
- Manage administration of work area orders from public
- Take note of staff birthdays and acknowledge on HH internal communication.
- Assist Marketing Team with administrative tasks, e.g data base.
- Cold Calling make initial contact with possible donors.
- Assist with preparing marketing material (photocopy, laminate etc).
- Quotations and bookings for functions
- Actively market the HH Shop.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand Afrikaans and English fluently.
- Multitasking and time management skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- 23 years' relevant experience
Education
- Matric (Gr.12)
- Post matric qualification in PR will be an advantage.
