Bookkeeper - Alberton

Must have / Sage Oracle experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the company's financial records and transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
  • Process payroll and ensure all taxes are paid on time.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and other financial reports.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Respond to financial inquiries and provide support to management as needed.
  • Processing of VAT returns and efiling

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not a must in accounting or related field preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
