Main responsibilities of Focus Area

  • Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity.
  • Track and coordinate the receipt of materials, storage, and timely accurate dispatching of finished goods
  • Check orders, bills, items received of deliveries for accuracy
  • Maintain records, report relevant information, and prepare any necessary documentation
  • Ensure basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulation
  • Perform a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds
  • Coordinate and maintain vehicles and equipment
  • Communicate and coordinate with other department
  • Manage and oversee reportees
  • Capture the transfer of dispatched finished goods from the master warehouse on Evolution
  • Complete the IBT on Evolution and print when receipt of the dispatched goods has been received
  • Manage the outbound logistics service providers purchase orders
  • Manage the monthend outbound logistics report for the creditors department
  • Manage the Food Safety System (BRC) system

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Matric Certificate

Previous experience as a Receiving & Dispatch Clerk or a similar position

Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management

Familiar with Food Safety Systems
