KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure daily delivery targets are met
  • Ensure that the correct delivery procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure all despatch SOP's are adhered to at all times
  • Ensure all products are delivered in the correct quantity and at the correct time
  • Ensure the POD's are correctly completed and distributed to the relevant personnel for processing
  • Ensure correct documentation is distributed by drivers
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Continuously search for opportunities to improve the dispatch process and decrease lead time to customers

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have Matric
  • Minimum 3 years' working experience in a warehouse/retail environment
  • Must have experience working on a computerised software
  • Efficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends and public holidays as required
  • Excellent communication skills; must be fluent in English
  • Knowledge of warehousing and stock control methods and procedures, methods of receiving, inspecting and issuing materials
  • Knowledge of Health and safety regulations
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Able to work in a pressurised environment
  • Salary: Basic R4,530 + incentives_
