Core Description

Responsible for providing day-to-day direction and for defining and enforcing the service standards to be applied across the Service operations business unit and the associated customer base.

Ensures that processes related to the implementation and support of service operations are done in accordance with BCX values and standards and industry best practice.

Works with other executives and technical staff to develop solid approaches to cross-functional team work. Responsibilities include day-to-day administration of all internal operations in the service operations area.
Ownership of revenue growth within the area Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

Motivate and coach the team to deliver against performance targets, develop and enhance team effectiveness, manage and maintain the attraction and retention of talent, and manage and empower people to execute operations.

Cultivate a culture of team work through collaboration, interaction and regular communication with relevant stakeholders within BCX.
Ensure that delivery and growth strategic roadmaps are in place and maintained for clients.
Facilitate the identification and realisation of new business development opportunities within both current and potential clients.
Establish and enhance strategic customer and vendor relationships.
Ensure that client contractual expectations are met.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in order to identify and mitigate risk.
Contribute towards the development of the Enterprise infrastructure Services strategy and define the Managed Services strategy and roadmap to ensure the successful implementation of the strategy to achieve business objectives
Manage and co-ordinate budgets, revenue targets and client profitability within the business unit.

Prepare and present relevant management reports and recommendations to facilitate sound business decisions and optimal performance of the business unit.

Prepares long and short-range budgets and work plans and monitors adherence to approved budgets and work plans in consultation with the Managing Executive.

Lead and promote a culture of performance excellence, employee engagement, innovation, and transformation.

8 years' experience in managed services on Cloud and Infrastructure within a large and highly complex organisation
OR

If the highest qualification is grade 12, 11 years' experience in managed services on Cloud and Infrastructure within a large and highly complex organisation, of which 3 years is at a senior management level.
