Your tasks:

Main Responsibilities

  • Determine the Strategy for the IOS Business in the region
  • Lead, coach, and manage the LCS, Service, and Technical Training Teams
  • Assume profit responsibility for the business unit
  • Define order intake model for order intake targets and turnover target (volume and value) and ensure continuous tracking
  • Develop a retention model for critical skills and positions within the IOS business unit
  • Responsible for monitoring and ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved for the Business unit
Strategy Development

  • Develop aftersales strategies and monitor customer care activity against set targets
  • Understand future trends, and adapt to the market situation
  • Drive and develop the team to reflect the future strategy to maximize turnover
  • Direct, design, plan, and continuously evaluate market requirements to meet profitability targets
  • Partner with customers to determine customer future plans in order to develop a business strategy for future pipeline
Customer management

  • Monitor and measure customer satisfaction with the service received from KSA
  • Manage customer relationships between LCS Service customers and KSA internal stakeholders
  • Close interaction with customers and various departments within KSA and KAG to ensure the effective roll out of LCS products
  • Provide continuous customer support (i.e. mínimal escalations, attend customer alignment meetings, continuous customer interaction) and strategic problem solving to build and maintain good customer relationships
Financial Management

  • Ensure positive financial growth of the LCS Services department
  • Overseeing the management of budget, financial and cost controlling/analysis of projects & IOS business
Service and LCS

Oversee, lead, and manage the Service, New Machine, and LCS departments by:

  • Responsible for leading and guiding team to understand and achieve market growth
  • Strategically partner with KSA customers to gain insight into planned projects and interventions as part of market growth strategy
  • Set the agenda for the business unit, achieve customer satisfaction and sustainable problem solving with departmental leadership team
  • Active involvement in the accurate and fit for purpose resourcing of the departments
  • Collaborative engagement with other HoDs to ensure the representation of the department and interaction points with the cascaded teams to strive for best performance, processes and situational leadership support
  • Proactive participation in personal development along with direct line manager
  • Establish all necessary meeting platforms, support business meetings to present department topics, tracking of targets and strategic achievement plans
  • Develop, grow, identify & implement improvements for the NM and LCS service businesses in alignment with Krones AG and accordance to the Krones MEA (Dubai) and Krones Southern Africa subsidiary strategy
  • Develop utilization model to ensure the utilization of the technical team is above 70% on billable jobs or projects.
  • Responsible for promoting & the coordination of KSA's after sales function of LCS products
  • Project Management in directive collaboration with the Head of Service
  • Support the Head of Service and LCS in ensuring effective implementation of all servicerelated interventions (i.e. new machine installations, overhauls, retrofits, audits, etc.) from quotation to final acceptance
Training

  • Develop and implement strategic model and resourcing for KSA's training portfolio
  • Responsible for promoting & the coordination of KSA's Training portfolio
  • Drive the future of the Training academy and all relevant business engagement including customer training, service training, technician development/new hiring and apprenticeship programs

Your profile:

Qualification, Experience, Behaviours & Skills

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related)
  • Management qualification with a minimum of 5 years management experience in packaging industry or related
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience within the packaging manufacturing environment
  • Previous project management experience of 5 years
  • Good understanding of financial management
