Job Description
Red Ember Recruitment is looking for a Head of People Experience stationed at the client in Pinelands.
  • Drive the people strategy with a smart HC infrastructure and team.
  • Prioritize professional & personal learning & development for yourself and your team.
  • Manage HC team capacity effectively and enhance team capability to improve business partnership across units.
  • Implement company policies and practices to support the workforce.
  • Ensure best practices and policies are up-to-date and aligned with the employee value proposition for ongoing effectiveness.
  • Manage costs, budgets, and expenses efficiently, contributing to profitability while enhancing business activities.
  • Implement and monitor cost-effective HRIS systems to extract valuable information addressing business challenges and driving culture transformation.
  • Oversee organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Conduct job evaluations, grading, and market benchmarking to ensure competitive pay and benefits.
  • Attract and retain top talent that fits the company culture and values.
  • Design and execute a performance management system with transformational KPIs.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture through effective performance management practices.
  • Offer wellness programs that promote a healthy lifestyle and support high performance.
  • Enhance BBBEE contributions for management control and skills development.
  • Foster talent retention through optimal company culture, rewards, effective leadership, and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain good employee relations to ensure timely delivery and a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with HR-related legislation and guide the business on any changes.
  • Handle industrial relations and represent the company in employment-related issues.
  • Engage with leaders and employees to maintain a strong company culture.
  • Develop internal communication plans to keep employees engaged and informed.
  • Create tailored people-centric solutions to retain talent and enhance company culture.
  • Manage HC projects with innovation and commitment, aiming for desired outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business performance and mitigate risks proactively.


Requirements
  • Human Capital (HC) Management background with a postgraduate business or leadership diploma.
  • Prior Learning and practical experience will be valued.
  • Relevant experience in Human Capital Management, including team and business management.
  • Industry experience, particularly in pharmaceuticals, is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, strategy, and technology.
  • Experience in policy development, project management, and leadership methodologies.
  • Proficient in metrics development, board-level reporting, and Labour Legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, diversity advocate, and upholds ethical standards.
  • Agile, achievement-oriented, critical thinker with a commercial mindset.
  • Innovative and practical with a focus on long-term success.
