CSV is currently seeking to add an experienced
HR Administrator to its team of professionals.

HR Administrator

Job Summary:


The
HR Administrator supports the HR Department in organising and maintaining personnel records, updating internal databases, preparing HR documents, liaising and providing guidance to internal and external stakeholders on HR processes and paperwork.

This position would support HR predominantly on Training and Development, Employment Equity, BBBEE Skills and Student Support administrative initiatives.

Duties/Responsibilities:_

Training & Development / BEE Skills Support

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding training needs and potential training providers
  • Obtaining signoff on costs and delegates
  • Confirming delegate attendance; ensuring venue and refreshments are arranged for internal training initiatives
  • Submitting invoices timeously for payment
  • Capturing of training initiatives and saving all supporting documentation timeously on internal database and in relevant employee folders
  • Assist with annual CETA reports by inputting training initiative information into input documents for final checks
  • In conjunction with HR Team, assist with annual BBBEE Audit

Employment Equity

  • Assist the Employment Equity Manager and HR with administrative support on Employment Equity initiatives
  • Ensuring that attendance registers and supporting documents are prepared ahead of Employment Equity Meetings
  • Taking accurate Minutes of Employment Equity Committee Meetings
  • Distributing Employment Equity Minutes to the Employment Equity Manager and EE Committee Members for signoff
  • Ensuring the Employment Equity file and Notice Boards are updated and in order
  • Provide support to the EE Manager and EE Committee in formulating EE Plans and policies

Student Support Initiatives

  • Provide HR administrative support to HR in all student initiatives, including the CSV Academy
  • Acting as a liaison with students for supporting documents and reports
  • Ensuring all student records are updated
  • In conjunction with HR team, liaise and assist Management with student recruitment, placement and vacation work placements
  • Assist with supporting paperwork and administrative support for CSV Academy initiatives, including recruitment, stationery and backpack allocations, textbook allocations and maintenance as well as site visit and social responsibility day arrangements

General

  • Assist with any daytoday administrative duties as required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience on BEE123 and EECMS (advantageous)
  • Must have a valid driver's licence and reliable transport

Education and Experience:_

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR Administrator function
  • Minimum of N6, Diploma and or equivalent in Human Resources
  • Must have a good understanding of HR legislation, including BCEA, LRA, EEA (and amendments), SDA and BBBEE (Skills)
  • Experience within the Construction Industry advantageous
