Overview:

Responsibilities:

Marketing and Cold Calling:

  • Assist in developing marketing strategies to promote events and attract attendees.
  • Conduct cold calls and outreach to potential event participants, sponsors, and partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content and promotional materials.

Dealing with Smaller Events:

  • Manage the planning and coordination of smallerscale events, including workshops, seminars, and networking sessions.
  • Handle event logistics, including venue selection, catering, equipment setup, and attendee registration.

Database Management:

  • Maintain an organized and uptodate database of event participants, clients, sponsors, and partners.
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping for future reference and analysis.

Administration:

  • Provide administrative support to the events team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Prepare and distribute eventrelated documents, such as agendas, itineraries, and postevent reports.

Business Development:

  • Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and potential partnerships.
  • Research industry trends and competitor activities to contribute to strategic planning.

Client Management and Liaison:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, sponsors, and partners.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for eventrelated inquiries and ensure exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

Previous Experience: Demonstrated experience in event coordination and administration. Familiarity with marketing, cold calling, and client management is a plus.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with clients, partners, and colleagues.

Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Problem-Solving: Resourceful and proactive in addressing challenges and finding solutions.

Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in using event management software, Microsoft Office suite, and database tools.

Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

Team Player: Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute positively to the work environment.

Education: A bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
