REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • Grade 1
  • Tertiary qualification in business management
  • An agricultural qualification would be advantageous
  • Accredited Assessor.
  • Accreditation as a moderator will be advantageous

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a training environment
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Facilitator, Assessor
  • Exposure to the agricultural environment would be advantageous

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Maximise profitability of training interventions while ensuring strict adherence to accreditation
  • Maintain good relationships with AgriSeta and ensure that all AgriSeta reporting is completed accurately.
  • Assist in expanding Lemang's footprint by identifying collaboration opportunities with South African corporates requiring training interventions offered by Lemang
  • Identify and respond to training tenders by Public and Private sector players
  • Assist in ensuring the successful execution of tenders to roll out training initiatives
  • Assist corporates in the Agri sector to improve on training interventions
  • Provide monthly reports on budget progress, programs and training centres.
  • Provide reports to the Group Training & Development Specialist for annual SETA reporting or as and when the need arises
  • Contribute to internal and external audits and action audit findings accordingly
  • Maximise learner throughput at Vastfontein and online training platforms
  • Ensure congruence with the AFGRI Learning and Development team to mutually benefit from opportunities in training initiatives
  • Support the AFGRI internship drive by placement of interns at Vastfontein and/or any other suitable site
  • Identify growth opportunities in the Public and Private sectors to grow the learner pipeline
  • Expand and customise new course offerings as requirements in the market.
  • Assist in ensuring that learners are properly accommodated at the training farm.
  • Ensure that all learner records are properly recorded and stored.

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
