ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 years' experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager/ Supervisor in a 4 to 5star environment
  • Ability to effectively listen and verbally communicate in English with all levels of staff and management
  • Ability to make decisions and work independently and excellent organisational skills
  • Previous experience in food and beverage operations, with a good understanding of the culinary arts, food trends and beverage service.
  • Matric
  • Hotel School Diploma (3 years) would be a nice to have.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in all F&B areas obtained in a 5* unit.
  • Knowledge of Micros and Dineplan if possible.
  • Must currently be holding a supervisory role within a in 4/5* hotel with over 150 rooms
  • Must be a handson, on the floor manager, dealing with guests not be a paper pusher
