Introduction

  • The Organizational Design Officer plays a critical role in shaping and optimizing the structure and efficiency of the organization. They are responsible for updating existing organizational structures/organograms and creating new if required to do so. To identify areas for improvement and to enhance effectiveness, agility and alignment with business goals. This will also include creating new Job Descriptions and/or Job Profiles and making sure the Global JD library is always updated. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, analytical skills and strong communication abilities to collaborate with key stakeholders and drive organizational change.

  • Analyze Organizational Structures: Assess the current organizational hierarchy/organograms, departmental structures, and reporting relationships to identify inefficiencies, duplication of efforts, and areas for improvement.
  • Design Job Descriptions: Develop new job descriptions and align to a job spec reference number. Be able to advise and recommend when existing job specs already exist and eliminate duplication.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with departmental leaders, Hiring Managers and other key stakeholders to gain buyin for proposed organizational changes, solicit feedback and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Proven experience in organizational design, change management, or business process improvement, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive results in a fastpaced environment.
