Wine Tasting Room Team Member

Hours:
Shift-based availability, including weekends

Compensation:

Responsibilities:

  • Engage guests in a welcoming and informative manner, creating a memorable wine tasting experience.
  • Conduct wine tastings with precision and enthusiasm, showcasing our exceptional wine selection.
  • Provide knowledgeable insights into our wines, vineyards, and winemaking processes.
  • Achieve high rate of wine sales in line with monthly targets.
  • Facilitate collecting and recording of visitor information.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the tasting room, ensuring a visually appealing environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of wine products as needed.
  • Uphold the highest standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

  • Presentable appearance with a professional demeanour.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English.
  • Passion for wine and eagerness to expand knowledge.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or winerelated roles is advantageous
  • WSET qualification preferable.
  • Own transportation for reliable commuting to and from the estate.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
