Key Performance Areas

  • Interpreting, implementing and managing Public Transportation
Contracts in accordance with the City's transport development

strategy

  • Processing routine correspondence and enquiries regarding
the functioning of the department/branch

  • Implementing concepts and theoretical knowledge to support
the short-term and long-term objectives and service delivery

responsibility of the department/branch in order to maintain

records of intelligent contracts data and enable

evidence-based decision-making

  • Collecting, collating, analysing and evaluating contracts data
arising out of the public transportation contracts

  • Communicating contractual obligations, contracts data and
results of research and investigations to internal and

external clients

  • Processing contract disputes and obtaining and coordinating
legal advice relating to public transport services contracts

  • Assisting with coordination of the processes involved in the
outsourced contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

relating to public transport

  • Analysing data and trends, measuring key performance
indicators and updating the Service Charter and ensuring

compliance with relevant legislation, policy and procedures

  • Giving input to and implementing the contract risk
management plan

  • Assisting with the monitoring of the contract performance of
service providers and reporting on such, to ensure compliance

with the City's contract management legal requirements,

policies and procedures.
