Key Account Manager - Hydraulics

Location: Northern Cape

Salary: R40 000 - R45 000 CTC plus commission

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at Professional Resources Partners Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring sales targets are met, generating leads, managing key accounts, and monitoring competitors' sales activities in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities while expanding existing business in the region.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through prompt, courteous, and accurate customer intervention and technical support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth.
  • Monitor competitors' sales activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Hydraulic hose and fitting product and technical knowledge experience is advantageous.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude in networking and building relationships with customers.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
  • Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude.
  • Previous experience in hose assemblies is advantageous.
  • Technical aptitude is preferred.
  • Accuracy and excellent literacy in both verbal and written form.
  • Medically fit to work in the mining environment.
  • Driver's license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
  • Fluency in English and Afrikaans is advantageous due to customer requirements.
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong drive for success.
