JOB PURPOSE

To manage the overall Facilities and Operations disciplines for all the residences in line with the company's set strategic objectives, and to manage costs and improve business performance, while still maintaining set company standards.


KEY OUTPUTS GUIDANCE

Controlled Costs and enhanced Revenue Lines: (Finance) 35% - (Costing, Planning & Budgeting, Expenditure Analysis)
Supplier and Procurement (Administration) 15% - (Contractor / Supplier Administration, implement and manage Facilities Standard Operating Procedures.)
Effectively Maintained Facilities; (Standards / Maintenance) 30% - (Utilities management, Maintenance Management)
Effective Business Processes that Support the Achievement of Company Goals and Objectives; (General) 10% - (Monthly EXCO reporting, management meetings, Policy setting, Tender processes etc)
Relationship Management 10%

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Ability to lead, motivate and train staff well for outstanding customer satisfaction and preference
Able to supervise and build teams, delegate responsibility, and develop employee talents. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Drive, resilience, and empathy to achieve role objectives
Be results oriented and creative in achieving operational excellence
Ability to direct and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to develop budgets and execute plans and actions quickly and effectively.
Assist in developing strategic marketing and business development plans
Motivated to ensure continuous improvement in operational environment as well as of own professional skills.
Knowledge of best-in-class operating standards and procedures (SOP's) and quality orientation.
An ability to interact with all stakeholders including clients, staff and senior management.
Must have a high level of numerical literacy

QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant Degree or Diploma
A proven track record of Facilities/Operations Management in a property management environment.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in the property industry
