Finance Administrator

We at Neobrokers are looking for a finance administrator with a background in finance and knowledge of bookkeeping to join our dynamic accounting team.

Part of your duties would be to work closely with the head of department, maintain records for all transactions and to organize company day-to-day accounting procedures.

Responsibilities:_

  • Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable.
  • Review and process reimbursements
  • Prepare budgets.
  • Maintain reports on financial metrics, including investments, return on assets and growth rates.
  • Keep records of invoices and tax payments
  • Manage company's liabilities.
  • Identify and address account discrepancies.
  • Adhoc duties as required by the Head of Department

Requirements and skills_

  • Proven 23 years' work experience as a Finance Administrator, Junior Accountant, Finance assistant or similar role.
  • Handson experience with accounting software, like QuickBooks and
    Xero (required):
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
  • Timemanagement and organization skills
  • BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
    Required:
  • Own reliable mode of transport

Note:
This is a full-time office-based position in Century City, Cape Town.

  • Finance/Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
