We have a terrific opportunity for a junior to mid-weight CRM/Direct Marketing Campaign Specialist to join the team at a leading retailer based in Cape Town's northern suburbs.

The CRM/Direct Marketing Campaign Specialist is responsible for driving the implementation of the Direct Marketing portfolios.

The role is responsible for the integration of campaign messaging across Digital Channels to change customer behaviour to grow more loyal, engaged and higher spending customers.

You will help ensure consistent, seamless messaging for business-as-usual campaign delivery.

Responsibilities:

Campaign Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all marketingrelated enquiries and collaborate closely with team members, including designers, content creators, and data analysts
  • Manage and execute the entire campaign lifecycle including ideation, content creation, journey building, audience segmentation, A/B testing, deployment, and postcampaign analysis.
Process Management

  • Develop and maintain efficient processes for campaign creation, testing, and deployment
  • Establish and manage the approval process for campaigns, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and industry regulations.
Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with various stakeholders, both internally and externally to ensure alignment of campaigns with overall marketing strategies.
Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor campaign performance and use datadriven insights to make recommendations for improvements and optimisations
  • Generate regular reports on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Create and manage dashboards and leverage analytics to optimise campaign results.

Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Marketing Management, Business Management or related field essential
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Information Systems or similar preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience gained in a direct marketing / CRM environment essential
  • Experience in Salesforce or similar tool and/or HTML essential
  • Experience within an online commerce and/or a digital environment, as well as knowledge of store credit products essential
  • Experience in campaign or project management essential
  • Experience in working within the retail corporate environment preferred
  • A minimum of 13 years' experience working with any Salesforce Cloud tools preferred
  • Able to selflead
