Motus Aftermarket Parts is searching for a
Master Data Administrator to join the team in
Meadowview.The Master Data Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the master data for Motus Aftermarket Parts. They are responsible for establishing data governance policies, maintaining master data records, resolving data issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to support business objectives. The role requires a combination of technical skills, analytical abilities, communication skills, and attention to detail.

Position Overview:

Specific Role Responsibilities:

  • Data Governance:
  • Establish and enforce policies and standards for the creation, maintenance, and usage of master data.
  • Data Quality Management:
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across systems and processes.
  • Data Maintenance:
  • Create and update master data records based on defined processes and guidelines.
  • Data Integration:
  • Coordinate the integration of master data across different systems and platforms to ensure consistency.
  • Data Validation:
  • Perform regular audits and validations to identify and correct data discrepancies or errors.
  • System Configuration:
  • Configure master data management (MDM) systems or other tools to support data governance and maintenance processes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Training and Support:
  • Provide training and support to users on master data management processes and tools.
  • Issue Resolution:
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to master data, including data conflicts, duplication, and data quality issues.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain documentation of master data processes, standards, and configurations.

COMMUNICATION

  • Communicate orally and in writing with Branches, Co-Workers, Suppliers and the Divisional Companies.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.

  • Work within established processes defined by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12/Matric.
  • Computer Science/ Information Systems/ Business Administration Diploma/ Certificate or studying towards.
  • Experience within the Supply Chain.

  • High level of attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of master data.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Computer literacy, proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power BI)
