  • Must have a tertiary qualification in Computer Science / Business Systems or similar
  • Must have a broad knowledge of business technology environments
  • A good understanding of basic IT culture, including databases, development frameworks, systems, Business Intelligence, etc.
  • Experience in basic Operational Technology, including industrial systems, physical access control, IoT, etc. will be required
  • ERP deployment, setup and integration experience will be advantageous
  • Good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required
  • Providing assistance with the selection of the ERP system to be implemented.
  • Analysing business processes and advising the business on the most effective software and hardware required.
  • Training staff on new systems.
  • Managing master data within the main ERP / Financial systems.
  • Designing and implementing data warehouse (via excel or SQL).
  • Designing and implementing BI reporting tools (PowerBI).
  • Maintaining BI reports, including sales and management reports.
  • Managing national IT projects.
  • Setting up and maintaining the annual IT plan and budget by defining priorities, resources and schedules in accordance with the global budget set for the Business Unit and respecting the global IT guidelines.
  • Delegating the Cybersecurity Officer.
  • Providing systems integration and support and maintaining all IT systems within the Business Unit.
  • Managing relationships with IT suppliers, group IT departments and users.
