Job Title:
Programme Manager
Duration: 6 Months Contract, Hybrid (Renewable)
Work Location: Sandton, Johannesburg

JOB PROFILE SUMMARY:

MORE ABOUT THE AREA AND TEAM:
  • Drive the end-to-end delivery of a number of Transactional Banking projects by leading the engagements across transactional banking to ensure delivery and agree objectives.
  • The role is Front Office business facing and will include projects within the regulatory environment. Ensure that the projects are co-ordinated in such a way that they can identify commonalities, leverage synergies, and work together to deliver the desired outcome for clients and end users.

MORE ABOUT THE PROJECT:
  • To manage concurrent project delivery across the Transactional Banking landscape, interfacing to key business stakeholders and coordinating change across Channels, Product Mgt, Operations and Technology.

CORE DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Daily program management throughout the program life cycle.
  • Defining the program governance (controls).
  • Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress.
  • Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements.
  • Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies.
  • Managing and utilizing resources across projects.
  • Managing stakeholders' communication.
  • Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program's "outcome" with the aid of the business change manager.
  • Planning, tracking, and reporting on outputs and outcomes.
  • Information and logistics management.
  • Financial planning and tracking.
  • Risk and Issue tracking.
  • Cross-project interdependency management.
  • Setting quality control standards and tracking implementation.
  • Setting and tracking change control procedures.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Good knowledge, exposure and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques inclusive of OKR's, AGILE, Scrum and/or SAFe.
  • Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals and business units involved in program management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
  • B. Com Graduate.
  • Graduate Level, project management certification preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of project delivery experience in the same role with at least a similar number of workstreams.
  • Relevant Industry knowledge, project methodology experience including SAFe, Scrum, Agile etc.

MANDATORY SKILLS:
  • 7 years' project delivery experience.
  • Relevant Industry knowledge.
  • Project Methodology experience including SAFe.
  • Scrum.
  • Agile.

PACKAGE & REMUNERATION:
  • Will be agreed based on qualifications, applicable experience, and previous earnings.
