On-site at the Head Office, Pretoria

Purpose of the position:
The Operations Manager is responsible for strategy development for the effective operation of the insurance company. He/she must manage the operational alignment and implementation of strategic objectives to support the bottom-line performance.

Qualifications:

  • Commercial degree (Finance/Accounting/Business Management/Risk Management/Economics/Insurance)
  • Active Registration with FSCA with RE5 Certification
  • RE1 Certification is desirable.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Business/ Finance/Risk/Economics is desirable
  • 710 years' experience in Senior Management Operations including but not limited to:
  • Insurance Value Chain
  • Strategy Development
  • UMA transaction structuring
  • Reinsurance
  • Leadership and Management Impact
  • Risk Management
