Key Objectives:

  • Assume overall responsibility for driving sales growth and profitability within the region by effectively leading and managing the sales team.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with key customers to retain their business and identify new opportunities for collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve market share and customer satisfaction goals while managing expenses.
  • Provide regular updates on performance and recommendations for enhancing customer service and relationships within the territory.
  • Demonstrate expertise in technical aspects of products and effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Analyze customer needs, recommend suitable products, and address inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare customer reports and proposals related to technical product solutions.
  • Cultivate longterm relationships with customers to foster loyalty and identify new business opportunities.
  • Track sales performance and share monthly reports with the management team.
  • Ensure adherence to call cycles and accurately document all interactions using CRM software.
  • Monitor market conditions and advise management on competitive changes and product availability.
  • Collaborate with strategic customers to contribute to sustainable business growth and success.
  • Collect and evaluate customer feedback to enhance product offerings and increase market penetration.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 plus a relevant degree (BCom / BSc preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Resultsoriented with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (> 4,000 km) and spend 68 nights away from home each month.
