Key Objectives:
- Assume overall responsibility for driving sales growth and profitability within the region by effectively leading and managing the sales team.
- Foster strategic partnerships with key customers to retain their business and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve market share and customer satisfaction goals while managing expenses.
- Provide regular updates on performance and recommendations for enhancing customer service and relationships within the territory.
- Demonstrate expertise in technical aspects of products and effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
- Analyze customer needs, recommend suitable products, and address inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare customer reports and proposals related to technical product solutions.
- Cultivate longterm relationships with customers to foster loyalty and identify new business opportunities.
- Track sales performance and share monthly reports with the management team.
- Ensure adherence to call cycles and accurately document all interactions using CRM software.
- Monitor market conditions and advise management on competitive changes and product availability.
- Collaborate with strategic customers to contribute to sustainable business growth and success.
- Collect and evaluate customer feedback to enhance product offerings and increase market penetration.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Grade 12 plus a relevant degree (BCom / BSc preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Resultsoriented with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively (> 4,000 km) and spend 68 nights away from home each month.
