Job Role and Requirements

FCE Technical Services (PTY) LTD is seeking a skilled Valve Specialist who can excel in both sales and technical service roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations
  • Overhaul, testing, and repair of valves, PSVs, and actuators, including control valves and safety valves
  • Supervision, overhauling, and testing of valve components, including pressure testing and calibration
  • Assembly, testing, and inspection of valve parts, including actuator assembly and testing
  • Carry out servicing and testing of pilot-operated safety valves

Requirements:

  • Advanced theoretical knowledge of valve sizing, materials, and diagnostics
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience as a Valve Specialist with a strong background in sales and technical service

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Visit clients and bring in new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
