JOB DESCRIPTION INFORMATION:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop Human Capital strategy aligned to Transformation Strategy.
  • Translate strategy and policies into HR plans for successful programme delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge of laws, policies, and best practices for compliance.
  • Implement governance and control systems through policy development.
  • Analyze HR data to inform decision making.

Talent Acquisition and Rewards Management:
  • Review Talent Acquisition and Retention strategy to meet challenges.
  • Maximize talent pool reach through various platforms.
  • Promote organizational brand as an employer of choice.
  • Provide guidance on compensation and benefits initiatives.

Employee performance management:
  • Implement effective performance management aligning with Company's mission.
  • Ensure practical and understandable performance assessment.
  • Utilize computer-based systems for efficiency.
  • Act on performance reviews for talent development and rewards.
Employee Engagement & Wellbeing:
  • Develop employee engagement strategy focusing on safety and wellness.
  • Lead engagement initiatives for positive organizational culture.
  • Address varied workforce needs for safety and wellbeing.
Learning and Development:
  • Develop integrated learning plan for staff development.
  • Evaluate critical positions for talent pipeline.
  • Match people to roles for career development.
Employee Relations:
  • Support Senior Legal Counsel in ER function.
  • Ensure cost-effective ER interventions.
HR systems:
  • Oversee company HR systems for correct usage.
  • Keep updated on HR practices and align systems.
  • Prepare critical analysis reports for HR insights.
  • Collaborate with Payroll for seamless operations.
Staff Management and Workforce planning:
  • Support HR managers for team management.
  • Ensure HR teams are skilled and resourced.
  • Utilize strategic planning for alignment with business strategies.
  • Participate in project proposals for operational HR aspects.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in HR or related field.
  • 10+ years progressive HR experience.
Advantageous qualifications:
  • Post-graduate HR qualification is advantageous.
Competencies:
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Corporate Governance understanding.
  • Business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and critical evaluation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
